Mr. Pedra has been in the roofing business for over 17 years. He currently oversees all of Pollard Enterprises Ltd. projects as he schedules crews and ensures they have the required materials for daily work. He is equally comfortable working in the office and the field. Jamie is in constant communication with site supervisors, roofing consultants, architects, and owners in order to ensure Pollard is maintaining the highest of quality standards.
Julie has been in the construction industry for the past 27 years. She administers back-up for project operations, job costs, financial and has an extensive accounting and construction software background. This has helped us improve our record-keeping, and cost management abilities as a company. Her experience allows for significant cost-effective practices to be employed by all Management staff.
Marco is Pollard’s in-house trainer for WHMIS 2015 and Worker Awareness. He is working towards obtaining his MOL Working at Heights Trainer License and towards his Occupational Health & Safety Designation from Sheridan College. He is Head of our Joint Health and Safety Committee and in charge of the company’s COR Certification process which was completed in March of 2019.
Marco has more than 16 years of experience in people management and training in his previous positions. Chief among them included his time with RBC Royal Bank, BMO Bank of Montreal. InfoCanada and International Clothiers.
He is the central figure in all of our Health & Safety Policy issues and implementation initiatives. Marco ensures that we are up to speed with regulations that come from the Government of Ontario, handles all WSIB matters, and ensures we are always following the most up to date initiatives as directed by the Ministry of Labour as they see fit.
James has been in the construction industry for the past 14 years specializing in the commercial roofing segment for the last 11 years. In his role with Pollard, his focus is on older buildings requiring roof replacements.
James handles the entire life-cycle of the project from start to finish as he quotes the work, handles the Project Management and the installation of the roof replacement.
Part of his role is to ensure that the Pollard Projects are on time, on budget with as little disturbance as possible to the building owner and/or tenants.
Christian has been involved in the construction industry for most of his life and has completed his post-secondary education in Construction Project Management (Construction Engineering Technology) at Niagara College.
Christian works directly with Mr. Pedra to manage all aspects of Pollard’s new construction contracts from the office side. He completes shop drawings, submittals, material & equipment orders, and site documentation reviews.
Christian coordinates between project drawings, site changes, and general contractors.
Christian is always on top of things happening on the project sites. He ensures our team delivers quality work that exceeds the expectations of our clients.
Paul has been an estimator for 6 years and has worked with several major Roofing companies in that time.
